Suzuki ACC 100 is the rare model of a series of commuter bikes manufactured by the Japanese company in the 1960s and during the 70′s. As its name suggests, this bike was an offshoot of the famous 100-A model, which sold well on the world market. Riders like A-100 for its simplicity, ease of use and low thirst for gasoline. Both bikes share the same 98cc engine, a proven single-cylinder two-stroke engine. Suzuki kept their automatic pump oil for the lubrication of the ICC system, a feature welcome a Japanese motorcycle early 1970. The rotary valve engine of the Suzuki A 100 produced about 9.3 hp at 7500 rpm. ACC 100, Suzuki engineers have modified the engine to coax out of 10 horses at 8000 rpm. Since the empty weight of the bike remained unchanged at 83 kg, 100 VAC has been able to cross the mark tonne, reports top speed of 110 mph. Suzuki 100 ACC received a new exhaust and swept with a single set of designs and colors of the body.
Fuel capacity housed in 7 liters, the CAC makes a good city Suzuki 100 bike or a city with very short legs. From 100 VAC, Suzuki kept the same front tire wider, but introduces rubber 2.75 x 18 rear wheel. Interestingly, the ACC 100 does not come with dual disc brakes as standard from the factory. Most owners have added at least one front disc driving experience safer.
Produced only in 1970 and 72, ACC, Suzuki 100 motorcycle is quite rare in a Japanese classic. There are few survivors bikes, and even less able to help. However, the demand for collectors to keep a respectable price, especially if the bike has been treated well. On the right kit, refurbished, Suzuki ACC 100 may still turn heads with its 70′s style and amazing performance.
